Mr. Gísli Sverrison had a bicycle accident 2nd of September 2008, the unfortunate mishap lead to Cervical spine fracture and the results were spinal cord injury below C7th vertebrae.
The rehab took place at the Landspitali University Hospital, and Gisli used KineLive biofeedback in his spare time for home exercises and to learn how to activate the muscles.
“KineLive gives me indication of muscle contract long before it is seen on the surface or palpable with fingers.
It makes a big difference to have this hint of muscle activation and it makes all the exercises more specific and goal oriented” says Gísli.
“KineLive has given me the opportunity to work with the problem and training by my self”.
Gísli has now, 9 months after the accident, made substantial progress and can move his toes.
Gísli Sverrison, Mechanical Engineer.
