The Kine electromyography (EMG) is what gives me a leading position in the world
Ingi Thor Einarsson is a teacher and PhD student at Center for Research in Sport and Health Science at the University of Iceland. He uses KinePro a lot for his research of swimmers.
“The Kine electromyography (EMG) is what gives me a leading position in the world amongst researchers doing similar things. Measuring EMG in water is not easy, but it is now possible with the equipment from Kine” says Mr. Einarsson that is currently measuring athletic swimmers, both able-bodied and invalid. His aim is to describe motion patterns of various disabilities in swimming and by utilising EMG find the reason for why e.g. blind and mentaly retarded swim slower than able-body, in spite of same training.
